W4 Construction Group continues to make significant progress on our Design Build Volar Barracks Renovation at Ft. Campbell, KY. This $10.6 Million project is a complete renovation of the Barracks for the soldiers training and living at Ft. Campbell. This month we completed a mock-up of the dorm renovation so that our team can walk the space with the customer to ensure that the proposed design meets their needs, before building the remaining 92 dorm rooms. The design for the new barracks includes an open concept floor plan for the common areas, to provide a comfortable and updated space for soldiers to dine and to connect, while also providing them with private dorms and storage space. The enhanced storage space will allow the soldiers to store all the gear that they are required to maintain. Our objective was to be able to design a space that the soldiers are happy to call “home” while they are doing the important work of training and working at the installation.
