The Department of Defense has prioritized initiatives to protect the Service Men and Women working at various military installations across our nation against terrorist attacks both foreign and domestic that threaten their safety and mission objectives. Based on W4 Construction Group’s depth of experience completing Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (ATFP) projects, W4 Construction Group has been awarded a project to provide security improvements to the Marine Corp Reserve Center in Terre Haute, IN. We are installing a variety of facility security upgrades designed to secure the property against terrorist threats and to protect the Marines that work at that location. W4 Construction Group is installing new crash rated vehicle gates, crash rated bollards, new pedestrian gates, fencing fabric to limit outside visibility into the facility grounds, fire alarm and mass notification system, exterior site and security lighting, upgraded closed circuit camera and access control systems, and fragment retention film on the windows and doors in case of an explosion. These building renovations will improve overall security and support the US Marines and their missions.
