PM Jenkins Group dba/W4 Construction Group has been awarded a $10.6 Million Design Build Barracks renovation project for the Department of Army – MICC Fort Campbell, KY. This project is a full renovation of the 1st Brigade Volar Barracks Bldg 3713 at Fort Campbell that were originally built in 1974. The facility improvements are designed to enhance the living conditions for the soldiers who live on base and to provide addtional security to the buildings and surrounding area to meet anti-terrorism codes. The following building improvements will be made in suport of this mission: New kitchens and latrines, fire suppression and alarm system installed, new HVAC system, Dedicated Outdoor Air System (DOAS) installed, new electrical panels and LED fixtures for the interior and exterior of the building, new plumbing and existing furniture and laundry equipment will be moved and reinstalled when the renovation is completed. In addition to improving the safety of the barracks, the newly installed systems will provide the government with energy efficiency and cost savings.
