White River Wildlife Refuge Barn Rehab

Project Description

The Fish and Wildlife Service award a $106,300 contract at the White River National Wildlife Refuge in Arkansas to repair a farm unit barn that was originally constructed in the 1930s. The barn required new roofing, windows, doors, and hardware in addition to significant power washing, electrical updates, painting, and the removal/replacement of rotted wood. Throughout the project, the barn continued to be used for storage and was regularly accessed by refuge employees, which necessitated extra precautions during construction activities.
